The Daily Birch: Bring Your Kid to Work Day

I constantly joke that it was a successful day if the baby is alive, the house didn't burn down, everyone is relatively happy, and I still have my wits about me. Everything else is extra.

What I'm trying to say is I won today.

I showered, I worked, I brought my child to a lunch meeting and instantly regretted it, I ran errands, I cooked dinner, and I sat down to relax at 8pm.

Today was a win despite moments of absolute chaos and for that I am grateful.
